- Download the captive-static binary (not the rpm) from Jan Kratochvil: http://www.jankratochvil.net/project/captive/
- Unpack the archiv.
- Be root! $ su –
- Run $ ./install #from the captive-static directory.
- Make directory $ mkdir /mnt/drive-c
- Finally mount the NTFS-Filesystem in r/w-mode $ mount -t captive-ntfs /dev/hda1 /mnt/drive-c
- Unmount with $ umount /mnt/drive-c
- If you wan to uninstall captive-static, run (as root) $ ./uninstall #from the captive-static directory.
