Take back your Volume Logic in Mac OS X Leopard

#######UPDATE#######
There is an update from Plantronics that fixes the issues with Leopard. So that you
only need to make the symbolic links to the libraries (step 2). This works for me
with Leopard 10.5.6.

1. Unistall Volume Logic and remove the two files:

  /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/VolumeLogic.plugin and
  /Library/Preferences/com.octiv.VolumeLogic.plist

2. Reinstall Volume Logic. Open a terminal and type:

  cd /usr/lib
  sudo cp libcrypto.0.9.dylib libcrypto.0.9.dylib.old
  sudo cp libssl.0.9.dylib libssl.0.9.dylib.old
  sudo ln -sf libcrypto.0.9.7.dylib libcrypto.0.9.dylib
  sudo ln -sf libssl.0.9.7.dylib libssl.0.9.dylib

3. Now start iTunes, register Volume Logic and quit iTunes.

4. Download and install the Trial from SRS’ iWow-Plugin, then:

  cd /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/iWow.plugin/Contents/MacOS/
  cp iTea Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/VolumeLogic.plugin/Contents/MacOS/

5. Uninstall iWow.

6. Start iTunes, and have fun again.
