Vmware Remote Console Plugin & Firefox 3.6.x +

There is no way at the time to use the actual VMware Remote Console Plug-in with Firefox 3.6.X. What you can do to access the Web Access is the following:
In the address bar of Firefox, enter:

about:config

Enter

security.enable_ssl2

into the filter box and change the value from “false” to

true

.
Ok, the way to acces your Virtual Machines is:

Get the vmware-vmrc-linux-x86.xpi (or x64) from the VMware Server and exract it. It may be here -> (/usr/lib/vmware/webAccess/tomcat/apache-tomcat-6.0.16/webapps/ui/plugin/vmware-vmrc-linux-x86.xpi)

In a terminal or launcher type:

/POINTTO->/vmware-vmrc-linux-x86.xpi/plugins/vmware-vmrc
-h IPOFTHESERVER:8333 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD

If you have an actual GTK version you may also have an grab/ungrab problem with the Remote Console and your mouse.

To fix this make that:

vi /POINTTO->/vmware-vmrc-linux-x86.xpi/plugins/lib/wrapper-gtk24.sh

and add in the second line:

export VMWARE_USE_SHIPPED_GTK=yes
